Stephanie Sears Named Interim Principal at St. Pius X

It is with great excitement that we announce Mrs. Stephanie Sears has been hired as the Interim Principal at St. Pius X Catholic School, effective July 1, 2021. Mrs. Sears earned her BA in Elementary Education an MA in Educational Leadership from the University of Iowa.

Mrs. Sears currently serves as the Online Learning Liaison, as well as several other supporting roles at our school. Previously, Mrs. Sears served in the Linn-Mar Community School District as a general and special education teacher, school administrative manager, and district ESY principal. Her passion for education, knowledge of student support services, various educational leadership experiences, and the relationships she has created this year at St. Pius make her a phenomenal leader for St. Pius.

Mrs. Sears is a parishioner at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. She lives in Robins with her husband, Kyle, and children Luke (2nd grade at St. Pius), Ben (Kindergarten at St. Pius), and Sophia (age 2).

We believe Mrs. Sears's faith, collaboration, and leadership experience will be a gift to our school community.
